This exhibition brings together intergenerational contemporary artists whose practices examine the increasingly fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world. Working across diverse mediums, the exhibition reflects on how centuries of extraction, industrialization, and ecological exploitation have unsettled the delicate balance between humans and their environments, leaving behind landscapes marked by collapse, displacement, and uncertainty.
Rather than dwelling solely on ecological loss, the exhibition asks what forms of communication remain possible in its aftermath. Extraterrestrial Tongue imagines a language that emerges beyond human exceptionalism—a speculative vocabulary attentive to the voices of soil, stone, water, plants, and non-human life.
