Born in 1996 in Kannur, Kerala, Vivek V C lives and works in Vadodara. He holds an MFA in Painting (2023) and a BFA in Painting (2019) from the College of Fine Arts Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. His practice explores memory, loss, trauma, and the ways personal histories become embedded within domestic spaces and everyday surroundings. Working across drawing, photography, print transfer, and stop-motion imagery, Vivek often examines the instability of recollection and the traces that remain after an experience has passed.

His work has been presented in exhibitions including Adaptive Realms: Contemporary Art in Miniature, Jaipur Centre for Art, Jaipur (2025); Afterimage, Durbar Hall Art Centre, Ernakulam (2025); Residue of Time (In an Implausible Space), Berth ICCI, Kochi (2024); Kala Karma, Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai (2024); and the Kerala Lalit Kala Akademi State Exhibitions (2022, 2023). He has participated in residencies at Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency, Delhi (2025), Space Studio Baroda (2024), and the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Chennai (2024). In 2021, he received a Special Mention Award for Students from the Kerala Lalit Kala Akademi.
