Pressure Systems examines the multiple points of crisis that shape artistic practices today. Borrowing its title from meteorological conditions, where shifts in atmospheric pressure transform weather patterns, the exhibition reflects on the invisible forces that influence our contemporary existence. Bringing together practices shaped by post-pandemic experiences, economic uncertainty, ecological instability, technological acceleration, resource scarcity, conflict, and systemic failures, the exhibition considers how artists respond to a world marked by constant pressure and transformation. Through varied approaches, participating artistic practices reveal how these forces not only challenge modes of art-making but also induce new questions on survival, adaptation, and the possible futures of artistic expression.
