ANIKESA DHING

Born in Udaipur, Anikesa Dhing is an artist whose practice explores our evolving relationship with the material world through ideas of knowledge, perception, and memory. She holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Fine Arts from MS University, Baroda, completed in 2020 and 2022 respectively. Through her visually immersive compositions, Anikesa evokes a sense of uncertainty around what is considered 'known,' positioning the object as a central protagonist in non-linear narratives that invite reflection and reinterpretation.

Her debut solo exhibition, Ice-Cream Melting at the Bouncy Castle, was presented at Anant Art Gallery, Noida, in 2023. Recent group exhibitions include Mirror/Mirror at Anant Art Gallery, Noida, 2024; Feral Ecologies at HH Art Spaces, Goa, 2024; Stain Cannon at Gallery XXL, Mumbai, 2024; Embark at The Ark Foundation of Arts, Vadodara, 2024; and Mute/Unmute at Method, Mumbai, 2024. Her works were also featured in the Student Biennale 2022-23, part of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, and she also participated in the Khoj International Residency in collaboration with Misk Art Institute held at Khoj Studios, Delhi in 2024.

Anikesa Dhing currently lives and works in Vadodara, India.
