As part of our ongoing exhibition One Home Many Nests, we invite you to an intimate reading circle with the YFLO Book Club at MAG C.

Set against the persistent expectation of linear productivity within the art world and patriarchal society, _One Home Many Nests_ foregrounds the fragmented, cyclical, and deeply embodied realities of artists who are mothers — asking what forms of knowledge emerge through motherhood, and how we might reimagine artistic legacy through resilience rather than linear achievement.

In conversation with these questions, we come together to read Mother Mary Comes To Me by Arundhati Roy — a book that holds memory, lineage, and home as living archives.

Through shared reading and personal stories, this all-women’s gathering invites us to encounter motherhood not only as a lived experience, but as a way of knowing — rooted in care, labour, inheritance, and the intimate landscapes we carry within.
